Payment:
We accept the following forms of payment:

Payment-terms for all products:
Unless other arrangements have been made, our payments-terms are as follows:

  • Net 30 days, after credit approval.

Deposit on special orders:
Special orders (such as: custom colors) may require a 50% deposit up front.

Processing of orders:
We do not prepare the merchandise (cut, fabricate, wrap) until credit has been approved. This may require filling out a credit application (if current information is not on file).

Freight-policy:
Unless other arrangements have been made, we ship all orders f.o.b. our warehouse in Cartersville, Ga.
The choice of carrier (truck-line) is yours. If you leave this choice to us, we will make every effort to find the most economical carrier available to us. However, the freight-expense is for the customer.
We charge a flat-fee of $ 10.00 to have the freight-charges prepaid and added to your invoice.

Claim policy:
Our main objective is to ship all our products free of defects and to ship them on time. Should claims occur, we will make every effort to resolve all claims in a timely manner.
However, it is our customer's responsibility to take the time and inspect the goods to make sure you have received the correct style, color, size and that the goods are free from obvious visual defects prior to cutting and installing them. Claims will not be honored for the above mentioned reasons after the goods have been cut or installed.

Warranties:
To find the warranty that goes with the product you are interested in (or have purchased), you have the following options.
You can: 1) ask our customer service department to fax / mail you a copy; or go to that specific product on our web-site and click on the warranty that is connected to that specific product. (As different products have different warranties please, make sure that you look up the right product and warranty.)

Return-policy:
Return for any reason will not be accepted unless written authorization has been obtained from Van Dijk Carpet in advance of their arrival at the company.

Return of standard products:
For standard items featured in our current sample-books, all requests must be made within 90 days of their invoice date.
Products which have not been used, altered, soiled or have otherwise become unsalable a restocking fee of 15% of the invoice-value will be charged.

Return of specialty items:
For specialty orders (such as logo work, special sizes, rugs), no return will be accepted except for reason of defective quality.

Also:
The customer is expected to package the return merchandise properly and pay the freight back to us.
Failure to do so may result in less than full credit. Value of the credit (less restocking charges) will be determined after the merchandise has been received into our warehouse.
